Paintings shaped by place and presence.
Landscape Artist
I create paintings and assemblage works rooted in place, prayer, and lived experience. My work emerges from sustained observation of land and water, devotional rhythms, and the quiet language of objects gathered over time.
Through color, mark, and material, I explore restoration, memory, and what it means to be held by something greater than ourselves

Plein Air Oil Painting at the Horse Rescue
North Shore, Oʻahu
Spend a slow, nourishing morning painting outdoors at a North Shore horse rescue—surrounded by open sky, pastureland, and the gentle presence of horses. This guided plein air oil painting session invites artists of all levels to reconnect with observation, light, and place in a meaningful, grounded way.
We’ll paint from life, working intuitively while staying anchored in what we see. Gentle guidance will be offered on composition, color, and simplifying complex scenes. A light picnic lunch is included, with space to rest, observe, and enjoy the setting together.
This experience is not about producing a perfect painting—it’s about slowing down, noticing, and responding honestly to the land.

What to Know Before You Come
This session takes place at a working horse rescue that is still in its early stages of growth. The land is open, expansive, and very much in process—part of what makes painting here so meaningful.
Participants should be comfortable navigating natural, uneven terrain. Some areas are unpaved, and structures on site are simple and functional rather than finished.
Footwear: Closed-toe shoes are essential. Hiking boots or sturdy walking shoes are strongly recommended.
Facilities: A composting toilet is available on site.
Outdoor Prep: Bug spray, sun protection, and water are encouraged.
This experience invites a spirit of flexibility and presence—meeting the land as it is, rather than expecting it to be curated.
Is This Right for Me?
This plein air session may be a good fit if you enjoy painting outdoors in real, working landscapes and are comfortable standing, sitting, and moving across uneven ground. It’s ideal for artists who appreciate a slower pace, simple surroundings, and a setting rooted in care, growth, and transition rather than polish.
This session may not be the best fit if you require fully paved paths, finished indoor facilities, or consistently level surfaces throughout the experience.
If you’re unsure whether this experience will feel supportive for you, please feel free to reach out before registering. I’m happy to talk it through with you.

FINE ART
My fine art practice is grounded in painting, drawing, and assemblage, often incorporating found and natural materials. These works are intuitive and process-driven, shaped by attention to landscape, weather, and the spiritual undercurrents of daily life.
Each piece functions as a visual record — of a place, a season, or a prayer — inviting viewers into reflection rather than resolution.

ABOUT
I am an artist and educator based in Hawaiʻi, working at the intersection of nature, devotion, and personal history. My background in fine art and teaching informs a practice that values slowness, experimentation, and deep listening.
Much of my work grows from lived cycles of rest and renewal, shaped by time spent outdoors, studio ritual, and a commitment to honest, embodied making.
natural beauty in its rawest form
My projects unfold over time and often include layered components — paintings, studies, writings, objects, and community engagement. These bodies of work are rooted in specific landscapes and questions, allowing space for both artistic exploration and spiritual inquiry.
Each project is an invitation to pause, notice, and dwell with meaning as it slowly reveals itself.
Available works include original paintings and select fine art prints. Each piece is created with intention and care, and is offered as a tangible extension of my studio practice.
Purchasing artwork directly supports ongoing creative work and helps sustain a life devoted to making.
